The Uganda Kabaddi Men's Team competed well in the African Cup of Nations, held at Amaan Indoor Stadium, Zanzibar, from 1st August to 14th August 2026. The Gladiators performed very well throughout the tournament, overcoming the Hosts, Zanzibar, and Tanzania, and reaching the finals to meet Kenya. We are proud of the team, which became the Runner-up behind Kenya. Vote of Thanks goes to Team Coach Mr. Nsabambi John and Team Captain Mulalira Douglas for guiding the team up this stage. 
This is a milestone for Uganda Kabaddi, making it number 2 in Africa's men's Kabaddi category, and next time we shall be better. As the slogan goes, " We Raid to Win".
