Uganda Gladiators Kabaddi National Team Head Coach John Nsibambi Sserubungo, with a kin eye invited a number of players mixed with experience and young blood a team he believes that shall take the country to compete for the Gold at Africa Cup of Nations from 1st to 10th Auguste 2026 down in Zanzibar were all teams are ready to challenge Uganda as one of Kabaddi sport power house on Africa Continent. the following players were invited into a residential training camp; 1. Ssengendo Jimmy 2. Mulalira Douglas 3. Kamoga Frank 4. Wandeka Mubarak 5. Gombe Stanley 6. Mark Okidi Carnol 7. Ngabirano Innocent 8. Ibanda Derrick 9. Tenywa Gasta 10. Tamusuza Rayan 11. Ssekamatte Rahim 12. Wanyaka Isaac 13. Mutebi Simon 14. Valentino these are the Uganda expendable to fight for Gold and raise the Flag high.

However the team is currently looking for resources or money for Residential Training Camp Facilitation, 15 flight tickets to Zanzibar, players and Coaches Allowances, Accommodation, Feeding in Zanzibar which is a big challenge that may affect the GLADIATORS,
